Oh hi, Sweetie!
Today I thought I would share some of my favorite super simple recipes with you.
How can I prove they are super simple?
Whelp, each and every recipe in this post has only one (that’s right, ONE) ingredient!
It doesn’t get much simpler than that! Unless you found a zero ingredient recipe… But I can’t image that tastings very good….
So I think we’ll stick with one ingredient!
To be fair, while I’m calling these “one ingredient recipes” they would be more accurately described as “one ingredient techniques”, but that doesn’t really have the same pizazz as “one ingredient recipes” so I apologize if you feel duped….
You shouldn’t, cause you’re still gonna get some super simple “techniques” but people can be funny that way, ya know?
Anyways, these croutons are a great example of a non-recipe recipe.
You’ll never be tempted to buy packaged croutons again.
They’re that easy.
I’m calling this one “one ingredient” because let’s face it, if you have coffee in the house you have cream and sugar.
And if you don’t, you’re doing coffee wrong.
Never buy frozen meatballs again!
These are ridiculously easy and have so much more flavor than anything you could buy in a bag!
Again, more of a “trick of the trade” than a recipe, but it’s super helpful!
This is one of my favorite last minute sides because you can keep a bag in your freezer until needed and go from frozen to served in less than 20 minutes!
This is another last minute lifesaver I like to keep in my fridge for when unexpected guests stop by (or expected ones that I neglect to plan for…because you know, life sometimes happens).
Again, I’m gonna call this “one ingredient” because all you really need is the ricotta, you can use whatever spices you have on hand to flavor it, so I don’t count that as an ingredient.
My theory is, if I don’t have to add it to my grocery list, it doesn’t count as an ingredient.
So, what do ya think? Pretty simple, right? 😉
