It’s finally Spring!
Here in the south it still doesn’t look or feel like it…but the news says it is so I guess I’ll play along. 🙂
The weather may not have gotten the memo that its Spring, but my taste buds sure did! I love the bright, fresh flavors of springtime foods even more than I love the warmer temps…ok, maybe not more than, but defiantly as much as.
That’s why I am super excited to share these 3 spring inspired recipes and crafts from my favorite bloggy ladies, along with a smoothie that combines my 2 personal favorites of Spring, strawberries and basil.
Now, onto my strawberry and basil smoothie.
Here’s what your gonna need:
1 cup frozen strawberries
6 ounce container of plain greek yogurt
1/4 to 1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of basil
1/2 tablespoon vanilla
1 tablespoon honey (to taste)
Here’s what your gonna do:
Combine all ingredients but the milk in a blender.
Turn on blender and add milk a little at a time until smooth.
Pour into a glass and enjoy a little Spring in your mouth.
