Well hey there, Sweetie!
Every year I struggle to find original, useful gifts for everyone on my list.
It seems as though everything I find, they either already have, isn’t very unique… or is unique but also terribly expensive. Or its something that’s very handy but just takes up space in their kitchen except for the 2 days a year they find an excuse to use it.
Well, this year I decided to do you all a favor and create a list of gadgets that every cook would not only love opening on Christmas morning, but be able to use just about every day of the year. And bonus, they are all very affordable!
Consider it my gift to you. Merry Christmas!
If you would like to return the favor, I like wine. 😉
I love this little guy. Every time I look at him I cant help but smile, ya know?!
Plus, he stands all on his own, which is super helpful when you want to leave him in a pot without going fishing for him later! Pretty cool, huh?
And because I like him so much, I’m including him in my Black Friday Giveaway (hurry on over, there’s still time to enter)!
Whoever came up with this cutting board/wine holder/appetizer plate is brilliant!
I love when products find ways to solve multiple “problems” (even if they are the definition of third world problems) and look cool doing it! Any cook would be happy to have a few of these in their kitchen!
I can’t say enough good things about this spiralizer. It’s small (always a plus when your kitchen is full to the brim), easy to use and its a lot of fun too!
I love that you can use it for healthy meals or for making incredibly crunchy curly fries. In my opinion, every cook should own one of these!
I admit, it took me along time to get on board with the silicon baking mat tread, I didn’t really see the need.
Then I used one…and I’ve been sold ever since. They make baking so much easier and the clean up is a breeze!
I use mine for baking and when I roast veggies, so while they make a great gift for the baker, anyone can find a use for one in the kitchen!
If anyone you know drinks wine, they need one of these. Immediately.
Just keep it in your freezer and when you open a bottle of wine, pop it in to keep it cold and aerate as you pour. Genius. Pure genius.
I don’t know about you, but I’m personally not a fan of chopping herbs “the old fashioned way” with a knife and cutting board.
I don’t know why, but it always stresses me out wondering if I’m smooshing the herbs or chopping them to big, and lets face it, you always make a mess.
Enter the herb mill. Its the same concept as a pepper or salt mill only you fill in with your own fresh herbs and grind right into your favorite dishes. And I love that you can fill it up and bring it to the table for serving so everyone can season to their liking right there!
I use this little guy just about every day.
It’s perfect for smooshing tomatoes for tacos or pasta sauce and its especially helpful for breaking up ground meats as you cook them!
I like French fries. I admit it. This handy gadget makes them perfectly consistent (essential for even cooking) and super easy. No more chopping for hours for this girl! 😉
And I suppose you can use it to chop other veggies quickly and consistently…if you really wanted to.
I have about a million measuring spoons. And without fail the only one I can’t seem to find is the one I need.
Never fear! This clever measuring spoon slides to make any amount, taking up less room in the kitchen and always the spoon you need!
