simple homemade frozen meatballs
Keep it Simple, Sweetie:
  • Italian Sausages (I like the "Spicy", but that's your call)
  1. With a sharp knife cut the sausage casing only from top to bottom.
  2. Peel away the casing and gently remove the meat, making sure to keep its shape.
  3. Break off a "meatball sized" piece of meat and roll in your palms until smooth and "meatball-ish".
  4. While you are rolling the meatballs, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  5. Once all the meatballs are complete, place them in the pre-heated and brown them on all sides.
  6. Cook the meatballs for about 10 minutes, or until cooked through.
  7. At this point, you can add the meatballs to a sauce or freeze them for a quick meal later! If freezing them, let them cool and arrange them on a silicon mat (or aluminum foil) on a freezer self.
  8. Once the meatballs have frozen, place them in a freezer bag for storage and keep frozen until you need them!
