So, I have a confession. This easy sausage appetizer isn’t really a recipe at all.
It’s far too simple to truly be considered a recipe. In honesty it’s just heating and slicing.
But I had to share it because when I have people over and serve these, they are the first thing to be devoured and everyone always comments on how delicious they are…
At least that’s what I think their stuffed-mouth-head-nodding-grunts mean.
I hope you wont hold it against me.
My favorite thing about these little wonders is that they are pre-cooked, so they heat up super quick, meaning you get to enjoy your guests (and the fruits of your labor) instead of slaving away in the kitchen.
Here’s what you’re gonna need:
1 package Aidells sausage (my favorite is the pineapple bacon, but you really can’t go wrong with any variety)
Here’s what you’re gonna do:
These really couldn’t be simpler.
Open package. Add the sausages to a pan over medium heat.
Cook for 5-10 minutes, or until the sausages are heated through and crispy on the outside. Slice into rounds.
Serve with spicy mustard (or some yummy homemade honey mustard vinaigrette) and crackers.
They also go wonderfully with simple baked ricotta!
I know that was tough.
But your effort will be rewarded. 😉
