Happy Friday, Sweetie!
I have the most delicious, decadent, rich, delicious, fudgey (and did I mention delicious?) cake ball recipe to share with you today! These guys are seriously out of this world, and my favorite part? They only have 4 (count em…4!) ingredients. You. Are. Welcome.
In my book, the only 2 things that taste better together than peanut butter and jelly are…you guessed it..peanut butter and chocolate! They are a match made in dessert heaven and these cake balls combine that perfection in a bite size, chocolate shell.
Here’s what you’re gonna need:
1 box chocolate cake mix
1.5 cup coffee
About 3/4 cup peanut butter
6-7 squares of chocolate candy coating
Here’s what you’re gonna do:
Pre heat your oven to 350 degrees. Combine the cake mix with the coffee and stir until smooth.
Bake cake mix according to box directions and let cool.
Once the cake has fully cooled, crumble it into a mixing bowl.
Add the peanut butter a spoonful at a time to the crumbled cake until “damp”. You want the cake mix to clump easily together but not be too wet.
Roll the cake/peanut butter mixture into bite size balls and place on a silicon mat (or wax paper).
Melt the candy coating SLOWLY in the microwave or in a double boiler. Dip each cake ball in the melted candy until completely covered.
Place the covered cake balls on a silicon mat and top with chocolate sprinkles. Once all the balls are complete place in the fridge for about 5 minutes for the candy coating to harden.
And you’re done! Wasn’t that easy?
