For those of you that have been tuning in for a while, you know that I’m pretty close to my mom. She taught me how to cook at a very young age and ever since I moved out on my own we have enjoyed cooking a weekly meal together to catch up and sip cocktails. So as you can probably guess, I love treating my sweet momma to a delicious brunch on Mother’s day, and no brunch is complete without…MIMOSAS!
Or, in honor of all of our wonderful moms…mom-osas!
I can’t wait for this years celebration, and I cant wait to whip up a batch of these pretty-in-pink cherry mom-osas to toast another year with a great mom!
Here’s what you’re gonna need:
1 bottle of your favorite bubbly
1 ounce triple sec
1 cup frozen cherries
Here’s what you’re gonna do:
Blend cherries and triple sec and add a tablespoon of mixture to a champagne glass. I would recommend pouring the mixture through a mesh strainer first to get the little pieces of seeds and skin out, but its not required.
Top with champagne and enjoy with your wonderful momma.
