Sangria? On a Tuesday? With white wine?
Yes. Yes. And you’re welcome.
I’m posting this on Tuesday so you can go shopping on Wednesday (which, let’s be honest, will turn into Thursday) which means you can make it Friday morning…and most importantly, enjoy the heck out of it Friday night.
And trust me, you will enjoy the heck out of it.
Here’s what you’re gonna need:
1 bottle of your favorite white wine
1 ounce spiced rum
1 ounce peach schnapps
(if you don’t have rum or schnapps on hand and don’t want a big ol’ bottle hanging around, you can buy minis of both for about a buck each)
1 peach, sliced
1 cup blueberries (frozen are fine in a pinch)
1 can peach pear la Croix
Here’s what you’re gonna do:
Mix wine, rum, schnapps, peaches and blueberries (save a handful of fruit for serving) in a pitcher.
Put that pitcher in the fridge and count down to 5 o’clock. When you’re ready to serve, add the la Croix and stir.
Ta da! Now you’re ready to enjoy the rest of your day knowing a delicious and bubbly treat is waiting when you get home!
